Professor Pamela Flynn Will Exhibit Considering Harm in Alexandria, VA

Pamela Flynn’s traveling art exhibit, Considering Harm, will be exhibited at The Gallery @ Convergence, 1801 N. Quaker Lane, Alexandria, VA. The exhibit will run from February 6 – March 21, 2015. The Opening Reception is February 21, 2015, 6 – 8 PM.

Considering Harm is an art exhibit that focuses on the issue of gun violence in our communities. Each piece is a small, mixed media, contemplative work on gun violence. These works, paired with text about incidents of gun violence in the DC Metro Area, work together to create tension, forcing the viewer to consider harm.

Considering Harm is traveling through major US cities. Each time the exhibit is tailored to fit the particular location, drawing attention to the harm gun violence brings to individuals and communities. The work has been exhibited in NYC, Philadelphia, Frederick, Maryland and now The Gallery @ Convergence, Alexandria, VA.
