The novel Heft, by Liz Moore, Assistant Professor of Writing at Holy Family University, was long-listed for the 2014 International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award. The award was established by Dublin City, Civic Charter in 1994. Books are nominated by participating library systems from around the world, and judged by a rotating panel of international judges. The short list is announced in April 2014, and the winner in June 2014 http://www.impacdublinaward.ie.
Liz Moore is the author of the novels The Words of Every Song (Broadway Books, 2007) and Heft (W.W. Norton, 2012), along with works of short fiction and creative nonfiction that have been published in print and online in venues such as The New York Times, Tin House, Narrative Magazine, and Ladies’ Home Journal. Her third novel is forthcoming from W.W. Norton.
